Registration Information

SFC BASKETBALL  REGISTRATION
for Fall 2010-2011.

 Online registration is only OPEN for TYKE aged players. 

If you need to register for Mini, Bantam, Midget, Juvenile, or Junior, please email lsinclair@shaw.ca for registration details.

Registrations received after Sept. 1st, 2010 will be charged an additional $25.00/family late fee, and may be subject to a wait list due to space limitations.

Community Memberships

All players must have a current community membership from the South Fish Creek community they presently live in.  Proof of community membership must be presented by all players at their first evaluation session.  Check with your community association for membership information:

South Fish Creek Founding Memberships

South Fish Creek Minor Basketball is in partnership with the South Fish Creek Recreation Centre's Founding Membership, a program designed to raise funds to build and expand the South Fish Creek Recreation Complex.  This is an OPTIONAL one-time, tax-deductible fee of $250 per family which entitles families to discounts on various sports and program discounts offered in our community.  For our basketball program, membership holders are entitled to a 10% REBATE on the annual registration fees.  To purchase this membership or for further information on other sports or program discounts, contact the South Fish Creek administration office at 201-8652.

Birth Certificates

Photo copies are required for all players with the Calgary Minor Basketball Association (CMBA).  If you had been registered with CMBA during the previous season, you may not be required to provide this information for the upcoming season.

Uniform Deposit

A $100.00 deposit (post-dated cheque March 31, 2011 will be required for each player, except Tyke players, to ensure return of an undamaged uniform at the end of the season.  Juvenile and Juniors players, please postdate your  uniform deposit for Dec. 1st, 2010.  

Refund Policy

• Absolutely NO refunds will be issued after the evaluation process has begun.
• All refunds will be subject to a $20 administration fee.
• Any NSF or returned cheques are subject to a $25 service charge.
• Junior and Juvenile- Players who make their High School teams will receive a $100 refund.
